New Gig, New Digs

Well I have spent the last several months catering and working on a new project, pure food 2 U.
We will start delivering natural and organic meals to peoples homes in about a week. You can see the info at http://www.purefood2u.com.

Time Off

Today is my third day off in a row. Nothing like quitting your job to get a little well deserved time off. Sunday I will start to work on figuring out what I want to be when I grow-up. Today it is baseball practice and making pizza at home.

Oops

Well, I just spent the last 6 monthes giving heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears to a place that will go under soon. My last three pay-checks have been difficult if not impossible to cash. Told the owner that it was time to bounce. Have some catering gigs lined up for the next few month.

Yuck, Monday :(

SLOW again. Bresaola antipasto, Veal chops, veal flank steaks, gnocchi and rack of lamb. Nothing sold because hardly a soul walked in the place. Local economy sucks.... I am wondering about the long term viability of small independents in the area.

Saturnday Night and all is well.

Saturday night has come and gone. Nothing remarkable. Sold out of out specials. Rack of Lamb with mushroom risotto, Combination of veal and shrimp with spinach and a brandy sauce, sauteed Lake Perch with brown butter and hazelnuts, gnocchi with pancetta and arugala.
