Yuck, Monday :(

SLOW again. Bresaola antipasto, Veal chops, veal flank steaks, gnocchi and rack of lamb. Nothing sold because hardly a soul walked in the place. Local economy sucks.... I am wondering about the long term viability of small independents in the area.

Saturnday Night and all is well.

Saturday night has come and gone. Nothing remarkable. Sold out of out specials. Rack of Lamb with mushroom risotto, Combination of veal and shrimp with spinach and a brandy sauce, sauteed Lake Perch with brown butter and hazelnuts, gnocchi with pancetta and arugala.

S-L-O-W Again, I don't get it.

I just don't understand it. There seems to be no explination for the way business goes here. We served twice as many on Monday as Thursday. Specials didn't sell. Veal didn't sell. Cheap pasta and salads sold. Almost wasn't worth opening the doors. This gig is a dog sometimes.

Monster Chops!

Huge, They Are Huge! Veal chops that is. Veal chops on grilled raddichio. Wow. Sold a lot and could have sold more had we not run out. Ran out of sea bass, and all our fish for that matter. It was a good night for business but I had a hard time keeping my head in the game.
